Fevered Pitch

Quiet enshrined, your past attained glory
Swish of the pen to tell your story
Slog yourself some history
Fevered calls of glory

Reality chokes new invention
A question of contention
Memory's of retention
Did I mention?

Small event becomes novel
Ball he couldn't bobble
Player with stubble
Glory, no rubble

Go back to your home
Here talk up a storm
Off without a hitch
Hit fevered pitch

The Signal System

Dance at the sentry of sensual seconds
Impede the chances as probe beckons
To scuttle the fringes bring your best
In mindful mindlessness pass or test

Scurry home to be with loved ones
Contribute to ousters with no guns
Enter and input receive no replies
Hear music, sweet bye and byes

Failure to disclose, personalities
Stirs deeper mistrust up in trees
Ask questions to get your info
Future reply they say it's ago

Deliver to us our next plans
God's mother understands
Meritless marriages hand
Guides across new land

Decision's extinction
Fission's distinction
Mission blinks on
Fate sings along

Its signal song
Loud strong
Signal on
Belong!

Dampen a Qualm

To beef up your standing's array of worth
Cross the border of beach, find a new birth
Call in the natural guard of walls and thorns
Try to scare fright away with calls and horns

Forget  those alamoes remember the alibi
Sell equipment with a few systems shy
Sustain a force, skirmish not long
Lighten a loss to sing a new song

Regional rivals may go top flight
Structure a form that fits the night
Architectural frames, no new science
Convey a concern, maintain an alliance

Dampen a qualm, dry up a high skilled fear
Underwhelmed responses headlight a deer
Push an assurance, stand up for your deal
Strange little metal parts, future you steel

Data Dumpster
"...ode to Call a Guy or to Colloquy"

Take a little walk, ear that little gadget in your hand
Cement sound as a fixture, trudge along sand
Colloquy lost?... or lost call to a guy
Direction toss, it just flies by

Did you really need all those conversations?
Cute interlocutors cut across nations
In secrets and all engrossed
Strolls all embossed

OK, must admit, it's a point well taken
Muggers?.. still we go unshaken
Digital bubble now protects
Tether call connects

Inside our own little data dumpster
We can all be the youngster
To call a guy or simply
To colloquy

Seclusion's Predictable Milieu of Play

Always wanted a place where you know what'll happen next?
Where there's no need for clawback, no speeds at break neck
Where families form business, or books are never cooked
Your network in seclusion, you'll never be overlooked

Heart disease is not a problem where data is the food
Interactive is your media TV's static gone fore good
Informational economy, with a click the doorbell rings
High fructose corn syrup goes out, more data in it brings

Houston we have no problem, the Texans are on the rise
Discover hidden relationships between far flung eyes
Hip hop finds cheap tickets to go on fast vacations
Customize your visit to experience many nations

To be the most social, access from your seclusion
Get some so-called friends to contribute to delusion
So be treated as mere object for commerce to survive
Worldview of your own in various degrees to prioritize

Those sites you'll visit and the searches you may make
Like your own kitchen, there to bake your own cake
Secrets and fantasies spreads there once and for all
Send your information, the world's your little ball

A Cool Coastal Code

Is sitting under a sandy beach umbrella such a waste?
Surf laps up its fair sunshine if to carry its own taste
And uses of detective mystery on that old beach?
Adventures abound in water within your reach

Pageantry under a surface bright and clear
Surfers glide above in sunset's light sheer
That marginal place where self is defined
More clear than inside mainstream blind

Traverse America only finds hot and cold
Soft finds your flair at a beach with a hold
Some folk go postal, the creep of land lock
Some go coastal to keep their stress in hock

Small host of shores where a loyal few renew
Far from those coast whores, oil rigs that spew
Beach fiction may soon come now into it's own
Sun and surf rocks you with creativity full blown

Day 107: Almost Heaven

How do you subdue Mother Nature's wrath
In the end she'll reign and we'll take the bath
As accidents go, world's worst spillage at sea
Extolls us to examine how our world will be

It's been a long battle for us my friend
Now it's almost over, could be the end
Brings us together in strange I must say
Five million barrels of crude, 107th day

Should we be happy or sad for our future?
Or can we mend it back with simple suture
Permanence in near term is shelter we seek
Resident fire, earth's prospects appear bleak

Oil sand in sediment, light sheen and tar balls
Ecosystems and habitats may still hit their walls
Cement and mud, a runaway well said and done
Is there another blowout from away we must run?

Genetic Data Drums

So you want to know about a deep knowledge hold?
Adorned as an ornament more golden than gold
She holds her data in the smallest of places
To show her face with so many traces

Facebook so you say can be funny and warm
A race with hooks where they all swarm
Google-eyed gadgets grow to stew
Only to ask "Who really knew?

To gauge any pending future gene sales
Good SciFi inside so many jails?
Yet hear what ensues hums
Genetic data drums

Proxy Server

Apple and Nokia have servers, in countries everywhere
Blackberry is the one who follows its own little care
A telecommunications company in its own right
Corporate keeps government, arms length at night

Gadgets out there, there's a million or so
People everywhere continually on the go
Where they go, what they do, somebody wants to know
Whoever that is should get a life, just let streams flow

Hearts of the battles seem to be in data transmitted
From little devices and gadgets, all encryption bidded
Government tries as it will to monitor and control
To deem a situation worthy to command and extoll

Set up a proxy server in your country of choice
From wherever you like, stand in one voice
Blackberry seems to be the smartest of phone
On which E.T. would be proud to simply phone home

Cookies and Beacons for Bunny Tracks

Hunters and Gatherers of data now collect
All manner of what's built and what's wrecked
Make contact, a little tracking file for you snaps in
Trackers shrug and say, "What happens, happens"

Sophisticated reach is now the new thing
"Cookies" will track you from babes and bling
Aggressive surveillance offered in a soft little way
New business model bravura swaggers and sways

Cookies for breakfast goes with your beacon bacon
Your visiting search greeted with "Hey, what's shakin'?"
May I be of some service with my shiny tracking file?
If there are no more questions, then here's a little smile

A huge data center in Oregon is where you'll find me
I mean my profile in data bases for all the world to see
For a price, I mean I'm not the one who gets payed
Broad access to free info is how my tracks are laid
